We know how important choosing the right childcare center is — it’s not just about finding a place for your child, it’s about finding the right fit. At Kids Learning Factory, we encourage families to come by for a tour, meet our friendly staff, and see what makes our center special. We’re always happy to answer your questions and help you feel confident in your decision.
How to Enroll
Enrollment is open year-round during our regular business hours. To get started, you’ll just need to complete a few steps:
- Fill out an Enrollment Application Packet (including ALL necessary forms and releases)
- Provide a current Mississippi State Department of Health Form 121 (immunization record)
- Pay the registration fee to reserve your child’s spot
Once all paperwork is completed/signed and payments are received, your child’s enrollment will be confirmed.
Each child’s Form 121 immunization record MUST stay current while enrolled — keeping our classrooms healthy and compliant with state guidelines.
We want to make sure every child’s place is secure! To stay enrolled, tuition accounts must remain up to date. If an account becomes more than two weeks past due, that space may be opened to another family and your child may not return to the center.
Tuition Fees
Tuition rates at Kids Learning Factory are currently being finalized as we prepare to open. Detailed pricing information will be available soon. Please check back or join our waitlist to receive updated information as soon as it’s available.
We will participate in the CCPP, also known as the voucher certificate program. Families approved for childcare assistance through MDHS may use their vouchers toward tuition at our center.
Families who aren’t currently part of the voucher program may still qualify for assistance. To learn more or apply, visit the MDHS website or speak with us — we’ll help point you in the right direction.
Additional Fees:
- $100 non-refundable registration fee (due at initial enrollment)
- $100 annual activity fee (billed September 1)
- Late pick-up fee: $10 for the first minute after 6:00 PM + $1 per additional minute, per child
Tuition Info
At Kids Learning Factory, tuition is based on your child’s contracted enrollment schedule, not daily attendance. This means tuition is due each week regardless of absences, holidays, or center closures.
Tuition is billed weekly and must be paid by Monday for the current week. We gladly accept cash or check payments at the center, and every payment will be receipted at the time of transaction.
Families also have the option to pay by debit or credit card or bank draft through the Procare app, our secure third-party payment system.
Please note:
- Card or bank payments must be made through the Procare app (not at the center).
- A 2.5% processing fee applies to all card transactions.
- Parents are required to register in Procare as payers to view tuition statements and download end-of-year tax information for childcare credits.
Withdrawal Notice
We understand that life brings changes and plans can shift. If you need to withdraw your child from Kids Learning Factory, we ask that you provide a two-week written notice before your child’s last day. This helps us plan ahead and ensure a smooth transition for both your family and our classrooms. If notice isn’t given, the account will be billed for two weeks of tuition following the child’s last day of attendance.
If an account is closed with an unpaid balance—whether the withdrawal is initiated by the family or by KLF—the client remains liable for the remaining tuition, late fees, and any collection costs.
Hours of Operation
Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Holidays and Closures
Kids Learning Factory will be closed in observance of the following major holidays:
New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the center will close on the Friday before or the Monday after the holiday.
We remain open for school-age children during school breaks, summer vacation, teacher workdays, and other holidays observed by the Stone County School District that are not listed as Kids Learning Factory closures.
Tuition is not adjusted for holidays or days when the center is closed.
