At Kids Learning Factory, we’re more than educators, we’re caregivers at heart. With backgrounds in nursing, early childhood education, and leadership in healthcare administration, we’re building a center where children are truly known, valued, and loved.
Meet the Owners
We’re Corbin and LeRinda Boyd — a husband-and-wife team with 24 years of combined nursing experience and a shared passion for helping families.
Before nursing, LeRinda spent over a decade in early childhood education, developing a deep understanding of what young children need to grow — structure, encouragement, and genuine care. During that time, LeRinda had the privilege of working under Terrisa Shedd, Owner of Kreative Kingdom Christian Learning Center in Poplarville, MS. With more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Shedd has built a highly respected program that sets the standard for quality childcare in the community. Her example of Christian based, high-quality childcare inspired LeRinda to follow in her footsteps and open Kids Learning Factory with the same heart and dedication to children and families.
Corbin, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Nurse, has dedicated his career to leadership grounded in compassion, integrity, and service.
Our experiences in healthcare and education, combined with the guidance of Ms. Shedd, shape the way we lead Kids Learning Factory — with empathy, excellence, and heart. We’re proud to create a place where families feel confident and every child is valued, nurtured, and inspired to learn.
About the Team
The heart and standards that guide us are reflected in our entire staff. Every teacher and caregiver is carefully chosen for their professionalism, compassion, and genuine love for children.
Kids Learning Factory employees are certified in CPR and First Aid, trained in child development, and well-versed in all center policies. Every staff member must pass FBI fingerprint and Child Abuse Registry checks before employment. Ongoing continuing education keeps our team up to date on best practices and ensures the highest quality of care for every child.
Together, we create a safe, supportive, and Christian environment where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to grow in both character and confidence.
